Story
The Latin name for sage is “Salvia”, which derives from the word “salvare”, meaning, “to save”. When brewed, Sage Leaf Tea is easily recognized by its bold, herbaceous aroma and smooth mellowness. In the first century C.E. Greek physician Dioscorides reported that the aqueous decoction of sage stopped bleeding of wounds and cleaned ulcers and sores.
